I have always enjoyed working with wood. I started out framing houses and then it was doing interior trim and one weekend it occurred to me that I wanted to try and make coffee table. Well that table was not what I would call a master piece, in fact it was kinda crummy.

So I bought them. I figured what the heck, they have a money back guarantee; if they are crummy I will just return them - that is exactly the very last thing I would ever do. These plans are awesome.

There was more than 25 different designs for entertainment centers. I picked the one I liked, reviewed it, printed out the material and hardware list and I was on my way to the store to get everything.

I chose alder wood (wanted sort of a rustic look) and got all the hardware and it only cost me a little more than two hundred and eighty dollars for everything - including the clear coat.

These furniture woodworking plans are really easy to use. That being said I was having a little trouble setting up my jig for the dove tail drawers, I watched the video on that exact topic and after the video it was easy to accomplish. My drawers cam out perfect.

In fact the whole project turned out awesome! Since then I have started on a coffee table - alder wood to match the TV hutch.
