Dealing with Insurance Adjusters with a Personal Injury Lawyer   by Toscanoinjurylawyers

In many instances, lawyers have clients who come to them 5 or 6 months after they have been forcibly injured. Most of the clients are honest folks who simple try to take care of everything themselves and they really feel that if they're upfront the insurance company will take care of them. But this isn't always the case unfortunately.

You have to remember that the insurance company and their adjusters are employed in the insurance company. They are looking out for their bottom line and not for your bottom line. So any time you're out there on top of the insurance adjuster, just remember that before you make a statement. It can be easy to say that you're okay and that things are alright right after the accident and there are a lot of cases wherein the insurance adjuster will use that statement against you.

You may think that things are alright at first but then when you go to the doctor he informs you that you have a slip disc, neck injury, or a back injury that can be discovered days, weeks, and even months after the accident. So remember that you might think that you're okay but you might not be. But then, you may have given your word the insurance adjuster weeks or months before the accident and you will no longer be able to get back what you said once it has been recorded. So get a personal injury attorney after an accident.

As sad as it may seem, the insurance adjuster is just protecting his company. It's business for them. You can assert that you're injured but the insurance guy can come back and say that you said otherwise. But if the insurance adjuster is not in your side, the injury lawyer would be. So right after you bump into an accident, contact a lawyer immediately before asserting anything with an insurance adjuster.
