Most weddings are done within a year or within eight months. But what if you only have a few months before the wedding takes place? What preparation would you embark just to get everything done before the wedding takes place? You will need to prepare for the expenses that go with it together with the continuous preparation and booking for vendors.

If you are aiming to raise money and only have four to two months left in planning, there are different means to raise the money you will need. If you already have a regular job, you can still probably get an odd weekend job or be a private tutor that is if you know something about teaching. There are different subjects that you can consider teaching those youngsters such as music, dance, arts, or a particular subject they are having a hard time understanding. If you love children, then go for it! This is your chance to know more about kids and earn at the same time.

If you have a lot of items in your house that you are not using anymore, you can do a yard sale. Since you are beginning your new life anytime soon, this is your opportunity to get rid of your old things and earn at the same time. You can also ask some of your friends and family to contribute to your yard sale by also asking them to sale their own unused things. Mention that this is to raise money for your wedding planning and for sure they will be up to the task. You can also prepare a lemonade stand to attract more customers and add more different interesting activities to your yard sale. You can even add a theme to your yard sale like a wedding theme so your neighbors will know why you are having one.

Another great idea to immediately raise money is to have an auction night. Here you can invite your friends and family for a party at your house and have some of your bridesmaids and groomsmen to be auctioned for the night. And to make the night more interesting, have the groom auctioned too. Similar to the movie Cayote Ugly, you can do a similar activity, which your guests will for sure find entertaining. The auctioned person will be at the wills of the person who bought him or her for a couple of hours while the earnings will be given to you..
