The most common reason people are driving traffic to their website is to make sales from the visitors. The only way visitors are gonna make you money, is that they are ready to buy. The only reason they will be ready to buy, is if you can offer them something they find worth spending their hard earned cash on.

So, how to get visitors that will make you money? First of all, you have to offer good stuff, and you have to use the right words, to hit their heart and hit their buying buttons.

If you're running a Weight loss site and your promoting products in the car industry, I can assure you that you wont make many sales.

They only sales you're gonna make here, is the few people who is looking for weightloss-articles or products, who are also very interested in spending money on car articles too.

I don't believe thats too many.

Same thing about promoting your website. Promoting a weightloss site on a car articles og parts site, you will only be able to get the visitors to car site, who is actually also interested in weightloss.

Again you wont get many visitors by that.

But, you're reading an ezine, and thats a perfect way to create promotional stuff to the right audience.
