Getting Back the Action Platformers of Your Youth   by Paul

My first video game was Mario Brothers--Super Mario World to be exact--and I loved it. Even though I was continually running Mario and Yoshi off cliffs due to my sheer lack of hand eye coordination. Since then, I have played many different games: console and computer games, adventure and rpg games, casual and sandbox games. My favorites have been and always will be, I think, action platform games like my earliest Mario Brothers game--and I am not the only player who feels this way either. That is why these action platformers of our youth have been revived and turned into online games.

Action Platformers in Your Browser

These days, you can get your Mario Brothers fix in a browser game. All you need to do is head to your favorite browser game site and open up a flash based emulator. Or, if you don't have a favorite game website you can do a quick web search and try out a few different options. It's easy and in most cases you can try a game for free. There will be a number of choices available to you simply because of the universal popularity of the Mario Brothers brand.

Mario Brothers and Everything Else

Best of all, you aren't limited to simply replaying the games of your childhood in an endless fashion. In addition to Mario Brothers emulators that replicate the actual game you played, you can also find action platformers inspired by these older games. In fact, you are almost guaranteed to find an online game that fits your interests--no matter what they might be at the particular moment that you are looking.

Creators are constantly refreshing the available content and producing new games and new adventures for you to explore. All you need to do is hop online, conduct a simple search and find them.
