Few myths surrounding lice:

• "Oh! You have lice. You may well end up with some sort of health problems from them."

• "Take a look at this kid, he has lice. He is yucky."

• "I don't want to lay with her. She has lice and they are simply a health threat."

• "Did you see this dude? He / she has nits all over his or her head. She or he pretty much certainly doesn't wash her hair every day."

What would the above arguments possibly mean?

There is no reality in the sentences mentioned above. They are erroneously connected with lice and females, especially youngsters in classes, have to face mean and rude feedback because of such myths. They're all myths.

Here are the facts that you must remember about lice before commencing head lice treatment:

• Lice do not shift any syndrome

• Lice are not a hazard to health

• Lice don't make you dangerous or obscene

• You can't defeat lice by washing your hair each day

We need to be aware of that men and women who get lice don't actually volunteer to obtain them. They were carried through other people's head or routinely used items that had been infested.

So, it's not a wise course of action to call them disgusting or lousy.

No-Nit Policies in Some Schools and Day-Care

In some schools, there is a plan that if a child has nits in hair, they can't join school until there are no nits. So, until that child gets clear of all the nits by going through a head lice treatment, she or he are going to have to stay away from school. Schools and day-care centers are the places from where youngsters are almost certainly to get infested.

However, I don't like this plan. The prime explanation is that when the children return back to school, they have to cope with a new concern. Yes, they get bullied simply of the fact that they once had lice in their hair.

Head-shaving is conceived to be a good remedy, but the fact of the matter is that most students don't feel at ease with it, in particular a girl. Most kids will feel annoyed in school with a bald head. Not to mention the smart remarks they will receive from other students.

Plus, there is no guarantee that after the hair grows up, they won't get lice again. Just like other strategies, head-shaving is also a momentary solution.

Head lice treatment is important when a person's head is infested by lice. Lice are not deadly or nasty and they don't transfer any disease either.

So, be calm if you get them… and be cool with those who have them.
