Today we have plenty of choice as regarding to shoes. We can choose and wear comfortable shoes, shoes for any taste, trendy footwear for this season, or the collection of the past, sport shoes, elegant shoes, etc. We get used to them, we like them.
This sympathy begins with the choice of footwear. We must first determine the size. The producers in different countries have different size systems. To help you to avoid getting lost in this shoe-sea there is so-called an auxiliary table.
The most important thing to know is that your shoes will serve you as long as you take care of them. First of all, think of the means to care for shoes and accessories, designed to make this process a professional, pleasant and easy way. What do we need?
Means for shoes caring
• Creams of different colors (colors available shoes). You can do well with colorless cream also. However, creams containing a color pigment can effectively take care of scratches, abrasions and other mechanical damage on the surface of shoes.
• Brushes and velvet to restore luster of the leather footwear.
• Special brushes and erasers to care for suede shoes.
Creams for footwear
To care for leather shoes creams are available in two forms:
• Organic solvents,
• Emulsion, in which part of the organic solvent is replaced with water.
Emulsion creams have better clean uppers from contamination, the delicate impact on the uppers, since they contain less organic solvents. They cover the surface of the shoe with porous film, which does not prevent evaporation of sweat and moisture. Therefore, the cream of this group preferred to take care of your shoes during the warm and hot seasons.
The creams with organic solvents better protect shoes in bad weather. So-called "shining" compositions yield a glossy film on the surface of shoes after drying and require no polishing.
The cream is applied to shoes with a thin layer with a cotton swab. Give it to dry out and be polished. This procedure is recommended at least once a week. You should do it not before leaving your house and right after returning back home from the street. Use the oil cream at night and polish your shoes in the morning. Such a regime protects the leather from cracking.
New Shoes
• It is recommended that you get used to new shoes before you wear them outside to check whether the heel does not rub and they are not too tight (we do not have this opportunity in the shop).
• Before you leave for the first time handle your new shoes with water-repellent cream.
• Sometimes, leather shoes fade and stain from the inside stockings. To stop this "ugliness" will use talc well rubbed into leather.
• To remove (or better avoid) unpleasant smell from the inner surface of the shoes and to prevent fungal diseases, especially, you need to care of your feet properly. But if the odor is still there, it can be eliminated with hydrogen peroxide and rubbing with a dry brush. You can moisten the inside of the shoes for removing odors.
Take care of your feet, take care of your shoes and enjoy it!
