How To Use Free Sports Picks?

Sports betting is hard, but not for the reasons you might think. It's hard because most people make it that way. They figure the more something costs, the more it must be worth. They think the harder they look for their pick, the better it must be. It's funny how human nature is to make things more difficult than they need to be. Especially in sports betting.

I bring that up to you so when I start talking about free sports picks, you don't confuse them with valueless sports picks. There are some very good handicappers that will give you a tidbit for free. And they will even send them to your email.

How does one extract the value out of something that was free. Well, when you are dealing with free sport picks it is not that difficult. Let's say, for example, a handicapper gives away a promotional free pick every day. You follow his picks for a while to see if he wins consistently, and he does.

Then let's say you signed up for another free pick, followed it and found the guy was also winning consistently. Now you have two reliable picks coming in every day for free. Sure, you may sign up to five guys who are not that good before you find the ones that are. But once you find a few that are, you have your own handicapping staff to do all the work for you.

Another thing. You can be sure that these promotional picks are the best they have to offer. They are trying to prove themselves to you, so you will sign up and buy their picks. Whether or not you ever do that is purely up to you, but either way you can still use the free ones.

Many forum dwellers put down on free picks, and those who give them away. But if the picks are always bad, why don't these big mouths just sign up and bet the other way? Be careful of what advice you follow in the forums. The most vocal are also the least knowledgeable and most likely to be the source of bad advice.

Some of those same people who complain about the "quality" of the picks, also whine about getting spammed. If they had any sense they would get a gmail address and use it for nothing but getting the picks sent. Privacy ain't rocket science.

If you get an offer for free picks, sign up for it. Follow the record of the picks, and jump in and start betting them AFTER they have proven themselves to be consistent. After a while, you have other reliable people doing all of the work for you for free. That's a deal.
