Would you like to become a more outgoing and confident person? If so, keep reading this article, because I'm going to share with you advice on this topic. If you put to use some simple tips on how to improve your self-confidence and increase your self-esteem, you'll become a more outgoing person. In this article I'll show you three of these tips. Here they are!

1. Go out more
How often do you go out to do something fun with others? If you spend the majority of your free time at home, then there's no wonder that you aren't outgoing and self-confident. Go out more often - with your friends or alone.

You can:
- take up a new sport such as martial arts, extreme sports, team sports, weightlifting
- find a new hobby, preferably something that you do outside
- join local clubs or groups of people with shared interests such as Couchsurfing group, business clubs etc.

How often do you decline invitations? If you decline almost every invitation, don't be surprised that you don't feel comfortable around people. Start saying "yes" to invitations from your friends more frequently.

2. Step outside your comfort zone
Now that's a very important tip. If you want to improve your self-confidence, you have to face your fears. Expanding your comfort zone is a very important thing that you should do on a daily basis. It builds up your self-confidence, helps you get used to things you're afraid of and makes you grow and learn new things. Every day try to face your fears! Some ideas:
- join local Toastmasters group to get rid of fear of public speaking
- hang out with pick-up artists to get rid of fear of approaching pretty women
- initiate conversations with strangers to get rid of fear of speaking with strangers

3. Surround yourself with the right people
Friends can tremendously help you become a more outgoing person given that they are confident and outgoing people. If your friends are negative and insecure, they make you a negative and insecure person as well. Maybe it would be a good idea to expand your social circle and spend more time with confident people who have a positive influence on your life?

Now that you know these three tips on how to become more outgoing and confident, you know everything that you need to solve your problem! Now you have to take action - that's the only way to get results. Good luck!
