In SEO getting rankings will not ensure that you will get more traffic! To get more traffic we need to concentrate more on targeted people through article directories.

Article marketing has always been a way to increase SERPs at the same time target niche audience. As search engine crawls these submission frequently for content your posts will be indexed more quickly and a link to your site from articles.

All most all article directories sites allow you to add two links at the bottom. So you need to be more careful in selecting sites which have good page rank. Though the page rank is for domain traffic for these sites is heavy that your post will get good amount of clicks.

Things you need to look while starting article marketing

As I said article marketing is the best and effective way to increases SERPs and traffic at the same time. Be sure that your content is unique and don`t submit same content in all article directories. Submit one to one, this may take more time but will give you long lasting results.
Place two links to your money site with keywords highlighted. Make sure that you add links at the bottom of the content.

While selecting article directories check whether the directory will give dofollow or nofallow link. Concentrate more on dofallow directories, this doesn`t mean that leave no fallow maintain balance.

After getting approved article, then submit it for RSS and bookmark it. Do some back linking to approved link. The reason is, as the time passes your article page can get a page rank by doing some back linking and you will be benefited by it as you have a link in that directory.

Things that you do not do while submitting article in article directories

First thing most of them do is copying article, Don`t copy article or submit same article in more than one article directory. Submitting same article in all article directories will decrease you article weightage and you yourself decreasing link weightage to your site. It is like hitting axe on your own leg. Never practice it.

Don`t be a marketer, your article need to give information not just promoting your money site. Even if your article is approved no one will visit your site from this article which is just about promoting yourself.

Be professional, whatever you write in your article make sure that you have complete knowledge in it don`t just write for the sake of getting backlink.
