If you are not sure about any Afroromance review, test the waters to find out   by Ria Rodriguez

When I decided to find love online, I knew it wasn't the easiest thing to do. Plus I am a 42 year old single mother. So since my odds weren't that great in the real world, I didn't want to raise my expectations with online dating. My brother had recommended Afroromance because a friend of a friend of a … you know the drill… had given him a totally positive and assuring Afroromance review. I mean it was an off-the-charts kind of review.

Well, I figured, if I was gonna raise my chances of online success (coz to be honest, at that point, I was looking at zero percent chance), I had to take time to at least inform myself by reading one Afroromance review or more. Plus how was I gonna get a hold of my brother's friend of a friend … blah blah? I decided to not only search for positive reviews and benefits of the site but also look for complaints and pitfalls in any Afroromance review.

Well, I came across one Afroromance review that also had comments by people who had actually used the site. And in those comments, I could pick out a few disappointments from some of these users. One of the reviewers for example, said Afroromance didn't have enough members. But one thing that disappointed me about some review sites, was that they didn't do their own research. Some expected their visitors to review dating sites they may have used. So I figured, it wont hurt to go to the website and see for myself.

Most of the stuff; especially things about the features the site turned out to be true. I also realized that true to one review, Afroromance was an easy site to navigate which was a plus for me. But one Afroromance review I didn't agree with was the one that pointed out on membership. I think the site has a wide pool of members - both geographically and culturally. In conclusion, most reviews are true, that's according to my analysis. Some of them… overly exaggerated. But to be honest, the negative reviews - especially those claiming the site has fakes - didn't stop me. I figured… fair warning. There are fakes in the offline dating world too. Has that ever stopped anyone from trying to find love?

So my advice to anyone who thinks that the dating site review sites are offering mixed reviews is: It wont hurt to just go to the websites you feel can work for you and test the waters yourself. Most of these sites cost no thing to sign up. So before you commit yourself, be sure…
