Those who are looking to apply for the Entrepreneur Visa can apply for either Entrepreneur category or Entrepreneur Plus category. For the Entrepreneur category, the amount of investment will be specified after the submission of the documents which shows that one has sufficient capital. For the Entrepreneur Plus category, one must invest NZ$ 0.5 million for initial nine month visa.

The person applying for the Entrepreneur category can obtain a residence in the country for minimum two years and a maximum of three years. But for the Entrepreneur Plus category, once the requirements are made for the Long Term Business visa, the person will be granted residency immediately.

The applicant must also have good business experience in its field or sector to apply for any of the visas. There is no age limit for applying for any of the Entrepreneur visas. The most important requirements for these two visas are that the applicant must be in good health, and must have a no criminal record for the past specified years by Wellington.
