In the heart of the mountains, 75 km from the town of Focsani, is Lepsa resort . Located Putna Valley, Vrancea village is an oasis of peace Lepsa. Natural beauty of this area at the foot of the Vrancea mountains , rivals the most famous nature reserves in the country.

Access to the resort Lepsa on DN2, Focsani, Tg. Secuiesc has made this village a booming tourist area. They built modern houses, pensions agroturistce very numerous.

Sights:

- Monastery Lepsa - offers tourists the possibility of living in times of spiritual sensitivity setting of the monastery desebit.

- Cascada Putna (high waterfall, small waterfall) - a miniature nature reserve. Waterfall is 80 meters long, and water collects in a lake with a depth of about 12 meters. It is a perfect area where fishing enthusiasts have the opportunity to relax.

- Nature Reserve Tisitei - Here the river has carved a deep valley Tisitei between Rapa Magura Mare Tisaru Goat, forming the key of great beauty. Nature Reserve, situated at 850 meters, measuring 4.5 km long, is one of the largest protected areas within Vrancea. If you visit the reserve, with any luck you may encounter some rocky slopes chamois, species protected by law. Here lives a small bird called Wallcreeper and other wild animals including bears.

- Tisaru Peak - 1280 m altitude with blue dot trail and accessible in all seasons

- the storage lake Greşu - offers a great view.

- Trout Lepsa - situated right in the center where you can buy at affordable prices, fresh trout.

The river can camp with tents Putna and the motel Waterfall can be installed and caravans, its officers providing current conditions and water supply.

Nearby is the resort Soveja with her mighty, known as ozone with the air in Romania, where there is a mausoleum dedicated to the heroes of World War I and sculpture camp.

History Monastery Lepsa began in 1774, when a disciple of Fr Paisius from Neamt Kipsa monk, decided to found a monastic settlement on the banks of Putna, in a place inaccessible to laymen and monks to be able to return to quiet the mind and to the upper body. Life is not known monks who lived here, since it was founded in 1929 and until there is documentation that tells us how many monks have been here and how their life course in the heart of the mountains.
