Local Eagan Business Runs Successful Toys for Tots Campaign   by Collin R. Hatcher

Cedar Cliff Dental Center, a local Eagan, MN dental office, recently participated in the Marine's Toys for Tots campaign as an official drop off location. Many of their patients contributed very generously to the cause, which was highlighted by two marine's coming into the office to pick up the box. Cedar Cliff Dental Center would like to give a big thanks, to their patients who contributed to the cause!

About the Marine's Toys for Tots Campaign:

The mission of this campaign is to collect new, unwrapped toys during the months of October, November, and December; and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to needy children in the community in which the campaign is conducted. The goal of this campaign, besides spreading joy to underpriviledged children through Christmas presents, is to spread the message of hope to these youngsters that will assist them in becoming responsible, productive, patriotic citizens.

This campaign is a great way for members of the community to join forces for a great cause, and make the community better as a whole.

The need for people to step up and contribute to causes like Toys for Tots, is increasing at an alarming rate. For example, last year donations were down 50% while requests were up 60%. As alarming as those numbers are, there are many things we can do to change this disparity. Become concerned, become active, and give generously (whether that's time or money). People often overlook the fact that even the smallest of good deeds, can make a big impact on someone's life.
