Communities all over the world could be improved by the simple act of teaching one individual how to manage their finances and by connecting them with a job opportunity. This one individual would then benefit its family, as it would be able to provide a viable source of income and effectively manage the money it makes by utilizing the tools it learned to develop and maintain a budget. This family would then benefit the community, which is composed of families and is only as successful as the least successful of its components. ParentJobNet.Org understands this idea, the concept that everyone in a community is connected and that helping one person can change the wellbeing of an entire city. For that reason, the non-profit organization has embarked on a mission to provide high quality training programs to adults. These training programs include job training, literacy classes, networking opportunities, and other resources that will prove valuable to both a family and its community. Generous members of the community who also understand the fact that everyone is affected by the actions of the community as a whole, people like Nancy Rizzo, have donated their time and resources to help those in need.
Nancy Rizzo was involved with ParentJobNet.Org in 2005, 2006, and 2007, although to this day she encourages and supports the programs supplied by the organization. As a volunteer, Nancy Rizzo sacrificed a great deal of her time to teach people the financial programs that they so desperately need to become successful members of the community. Lessons that Nancy Rizzo has provided through her workshops, such as how to balance a checkbook, how to make and stick to a budget, and how to save money, have greatly influenced the lives of the people they have benefited.
Nancy Rizzo's involvement with ParentJobNet.Org comes as no surprise to anyone who is familiar with her active volunteer lifestyle. As a member of New York City's large community, Nancy Rizzo has generously volunteered with a large number of non-profit organizations that benefit the mothers, parents, and students that live within the city's limits. In fact, Nancy Rizzo has shared her knowledge about the financial industry and her passion for volunteer work with hundreds of individuals who have benefited from the donation of both her time and her expertise.
New York City can be a highly competitive and difficult place to live, but underneath the hustle and bustle of the city lies a community that is strong and is only growing stronger.
