The Okidata C9500 printer is a laser device that prints in color and mono. It uses the LED technology and a speedy processor for fast and reliable output each time. Connectivity options available make it ideal for use within medium to large workgroups. Expandability of certain features means having scalable solution to your changing productivity demands. Also, utilities are present for managing machine use and print cost.

It has an enclosure with a dimension of 460 mm (height) x 666 mm (width) 626 mm (depth). It has a 72-kg weight. Inside its body is a speedy processor that runs at 600MHz. This allows the machine to yield as much as 37 black-and-white pages each minute or 30 color pages each minute. You only have to wait for 160 seconds to warm it up, so you can get to your printing tasks soon enough.

Making sure that texts are razor-sharp and images are crisp and detailed is the printing resolution of up to 1200 dpi x 1200 dpi. With this, it's easier to have consistent results. The Oki Color Matching technology sees to it that the colors displayed on the computer screen are what you'll see on the printouts. Getting professional-looking documents is a cinch - presentations, charts, flyers, marketing paraphernalia, etc.

No matter how busy the workplace environment gets, the machine can catch up with its input media handling capabilities. As much as 650 sheets can be supported, as there's a 550-sheet internal tray and another 100-sheet multipurpose tray. However, a 3rd tray and high-capacity tray (sold separately) may be attached to the printer. All in all, you can bring the input media capacity up to 2850 sheets.

An assortment of media dimensions and types can be used on the C9500. Supported dimensions are A6, A5, A4, A3, banner and custom sizes. Supported types include regular paper, envelopes, cards, labels, transparencies and other media compatible with a laser printer. So you can finish more quick and easy, there are optional accessories available, like a paper stacker, puncher and stapler for lower tray use.

Upon purchase, a 320MB RAM already comes with the machine. But because of the available DIMM slots, it's possible to increase the memory to a maximum of 1024MB. This allows you to store more printer tasks and large files. Hooking up to a computer is hassle-free as there are both parallel IEEE 1284 and USB 1.1 ports. For use within a medium to large network of computers, an Ethernet card (10/100 Base-TX) is around.

Helpful tools are included for optimal printer performance and management. For instance, Automatic Color adjusts color use upon powering on the machine, or upon installation of a new toner cartridge or image drum. Oki Template Manager is an easy-to-use tool for creating templates of day-to-day documents. Helping you manage the use of the machine within a network are the Print Control and PrintSuperVision software.
