Paid To Click- Is It Possible To Work From Your Sofa? by Christopher John Evans

If you have spent a decent amount of time researching internet opportunities to earn online you would have probably come across a lot of 'Paid To Click' sites. I, myself, first came across these money making sites a couple of years ago and they fast became the basis of my love affair with Affiliate Marketing.
It can be a disappointment when you first sign up with a PTC site and many people dismiss them as a complete waste of time or an impossible way to make realistic money. This is largely down to the low earning rate of the adverts. When people discover the most you can earn by clicking on a advert and waiting for 30 seconds is about 1 cent they quickly get turned off by the whole affair. I have also felt this way many times in the past.
Remove this thought from your mind. When you join your first site remember this is just a starting point for you, with a little hard work and persistence you will eventually get the results you were looking for. I cannot stress this enough-persistence and patience is the key!
Before I proceed with this subject I think it would probably help if I tell you a bit about myself and my online activities. I started out with the obvious popular and trusted PTC sites. After pottering around with these sites for about 8-10 months I decided to look further into the sites. I was already making money with these sites but realized there were a few more options to make money with them. I jumped head first into advertising and traffic exchange and eventually became an affiliate marketer. I now spend my days working from home on a laptop in front of the TV.
I'm not trying to be big-headed I'm just trying to show you that these PTC sites really can work for anyone and hopefully lead to them eventually giving up their day job and working at home.
Back to the actual method to the madness. Your first step would be to join a legitimate, registered PTC company. A few years ago I would have suggested Neobux' but recent changes made by the sites admin have left me and many others furious so for the basis of this article I would suggest 'onbux' or 'incentria'.
Onbux is regarded as a prime candidate for overtaking Neobux but the site is quite modern. I really like this site and I would never suggest or mention a site in an article if I had any doubts about it. take it from me all newcomers - start with onbux. It's a simply laid out site and very easy to familiarize yourself with. The first couple of months will be spent accumulating the pennies until you reach the 4-5 dollar mark. You can cash-out before this at two dollars but take my advice - don't do this. Take the money you have earned and rent some referrals.
Rent some referrals? what is this? When you rent referrals you are effectively renting other members for approximately 30 days. For this 30 day period whatever these members earn on this site will result in you getting about 25% of their earnings. This puts you into fourth gear with your earnings but remember - don't rent too many referrals early on. When you get over 100 rented referrals working for you it becomes very hard to recycle them and keep them on your books ( this costs money ). So be patient and build your referral bank to approximately 80-100 members and stay at this level until you are confident you have earned enough money to move on and rent a further 100 referrals then - rinse and repeat.
Another option PTC sites give you is a direct referral system. Before we start I must warn you that this is one hell of a lot of work and often requires some outlay. Gaining direct referrals is generally achieved by advertising the site through your own personal affiliate link ( everyone is given one of these when they register an account with a PTC site ). I have used this technique to gain referrals but it is time consuming. The benefit to trying out this system is that it will let you dip your toe in the water with affiliate/internet marketing..
I will finish by covering the Incentria site I mentioned earlier. Incentria is in many ways similar to Onbux except for the amount earned per click. Incentria is a much older, elite site that has a very good reputation. The main advantage of this site is that you can buy direct referrals instead of having to advertise or rent. If you have any spare money to invest when you start, this site would be a great place to start.
I have tried to keep this article as basic as possible and i hope it helps. Paid-to-click. sites do work but it will involve commitment and common sense. Good luck.
