Search engine rankings, for free?!   by Alan

Ka-ching! That's the sound of another affiliate commission hitting your bank account, at least we all wish it was, right?

Well, it certainly isn't as easy as many people would have you thinking, but then again it's also not quite as hard either. Yeah, I just made a very controversial statement and it would do you well to pay attention to this very short, yet informative piece of info no matter what side of the fence you are on.

Remember the days where almost any website would pull in visitors, clicks, and ultimately a sale to boot? Well I think you know those days are long gone and aren't ever coming back, the game has changed. Websites don't need flashy banners, promises of riches overnight, or even the best templates money can buy anymore, they need content! This can come in the form of articles, comments, user input, pretty much any piece of information that would help even one person out is going to help you on your path to number on the search engine rankings.

Think back for a second to a couple websites you have visited, just bear with me for a bit. Can you recall what color the theme was, or how smooth the font boxes are..? Probably not. I bet you a million bucks though, you remember the information you gained from visiting that place, assuming it was worth your time. If you really liked the info, you are going to bookmark the page or share it with your friends on one or several of your favorite social media sites like Facebook, twitter, linked-in, and so on.
Are you starting to get a picture of how your business looks like to the search engines?

Let's assume for a minute that you want to market an e-book and the topic is corn, yes corn!
Okay, so the process is the same, write a couple of great articles detailing some interesting information about corn, get some user input, share with your networks and watch your traffic and rank rise. Seriously guys it's about that simple, it really is.

Now that you have a better grasp on rankings, articles and social media, put it to good use and make some money. This will work for any niche, and I can't think of a better way to start your training then to just do something with that information floating through your head. It won't write itself, and you can't replace QUALITY with QUANTITY! So write something good, post it somewhere and wait for the results. Process the results and do it again. Rinse and repeat until you have this process down pat.

This is just the beginning of something much bigger in your internet marketing career, take it and use it, I mean it!

Happy writing!
