Culture is a huge part of the Singapore experience, and there are plenty of ways to experience this culture. For example, check out the Asian Civilizations Museum. It's full of artifacts from all over the continent, including Islamic art, textiles, a Buddha statue from the 9th century, and more. Another great museum is the National Museum of Singapore, which is the oldest museum in Singapore, yet it prides itself on presenting Singapore's history in innovative and exciting ways. The museum also holds festivals and other events often, so keep an eye out for those.
The Singapore Zoo is excellent. Not only is it endorsed by Steve Irwin, but it's also where the Animal Planet shoots many of the documentaries and television shows. It's also very special thanks to it's free-range set up, which means there's no ugly walls or fences. Instead, animals are separated by moats to give it a completely natural feel. It also has the largest population of captive orangutans in the world. You should also try to catch the Night Safari, where visitors get access to a whole different part of the zoo that's only open at night.
If you have a little time to spare while in Singapore, or if you are experiencing particularly sore feet, visit one of Singapore's many spas for the ultimate relaxing massage. Bath Culture and spas give customers the ultimate in relaxation, all in a traditional setting. This means you can be back on your feet and rejuvenated for more exploration around the city. Another great place to relax is the Singapore Botanic Gardens. This completely tranquil park has beautiful lakes, lots of flowers, and birds and animals as well. While you're in the Botanic Gardens, head to the National Orchid Garden. While it costs a separate fee to get inside, you'll find it's definitely worth the money.
