Stockholm is a one-of-a-kind city. Be sure to visit the beautiful Drottningholm Palace and Court Theater, an official UNESCO World Heritage Site. This 18th century palace and the surrounding gardens are perched right on a lake, and there are tours available that can teach you all about the history and modern relevance of the site. In addition to seeing the palace, being able to relax and enjoy the laid-back atmosphere in the gardens is a huge benefit for a weary traveler.
