Take Your Next Vacation at an All-Inclusive Mexican Resort   by Sharon Schierling

Sometime ago my husband and I had the opportunity to visit Mexico, (before all the problems in the area) and thoroughly enjoyed visiting Tulum. It is one of the most visited of the Maya sites in the Yucatan Peninsula. One of the amazing things about Talum, is the rich and beautiful Caribbean as a backdrop. I don’t care if you are a photographer, artist, or just vista-loving tourist, you will find Tulum offers beautiful scenery, historical information and breathtaking sights. What's more, the area is small and there is comparatively little climbing involved so you don’t have to “train” to enjoy this beautiful site which will take only a couple of hours.

Inclusive Mexican resorts are the way to go if you want to get the best from your Mexican Caribbean vacation. All-inclusive Mexico resorts have the advantage of allowing you to dispense with all the worries that usually comes from planning your own vacation. All-inclusive means exactly what it says, once you have paid for the vacation you simply put your wallet in the room vault and enjoy your vacation. Everything the resort has to offer is at your disposal, including meals and breakfast, hotel facilities, and even hotel-sponsored activities, right along with luxurious accommodations.

We stayed in an all-inclusive resort on the Riviera Maya which featured a deluxe beach front located on a beautiful stretch of the Caribbean that had plenty of room for swimming, walking, water cycling, skiing and sun bathing. The resort itself offered all kinds of things to do, apart from the beach. We could relax in luxurious surroundings, swim in one of several beautiful pool areas, including a family oriented pool, pamper yourself with spa treatments, or just explore the sites.

We also had access to other local attractions simply by visiting the hotel activity center and arranging for tours. In addition to Tulum, we went shopping at Play Del Carmen, went snorkeling Xhel-Ha, and spent time relaxing in hammocks while the lovely Caribbean waves kept rolling in.

The rooms at our all-inclusive resort were fully air-conditioned and elegantly furnished. The beds are comfortable, the rooms were filled with all sorts of conveniences, such as a stocked mini bar refrigerator, satellite TV and CD stereo.

Our resort offered all meals included so we were delighted with the choice of several very exclusive restaurants featuring incredible cuisine from various countries around the world. Our breakfast and lunch buffets were an assortment of wonderful, decadent foods which varied daily. Don’t expect to stick with your diet on this vacation!

If you are going to Mexico, I highly recommend taking advantage of an all-inclusive resort. You will find the resort compounds safe and secure and there is plenty to do without ever leaving the proper.
