It is not easy to make a living playing a piano. It takes a great deal of time, determination, talent and luck are required here as in most art careers before playing in front of sold out crowds. There are many ways to use the piano if piano playing is your passion and you cannot imagine yourself doing anything else for a living. Teaching piano lessons and playing piano accompaniment can pay the bills while you wait for your big break.

Teaching piano is how many aspiring piano players supplement thier income. They can rely on the regular source of income from the lessons. Several factors will determine the amount of money that you can charge for each piano lesson. You will be able to charge more per lesson iwth the more experience you have. The amount of disposable income people have available for luxuries such as piano lessons is determined by each regions cost of living. Where you will teach students to play the piano in thier homes or yours is something you will have to decide.
Accompany on the Piano

Finding that you can actually make a really good living playing the piano is something lots of aspiring musicians are amazed to learn. They usually find themselves being asked to play for larger and larger groups of people when they have established themselves as a gifted piano accompaniment player.
