The primary reason for this is because we need to hang two different curtains on our window at the same time to make our window looks more colorful and attractive. A sheer curtain, which is a thin fabric, is usually placed in the inner rod. The inner rod is the one that is closest to the wall. This is to allow some light to pass through during the day. However, the main curtain is normally placed in the outer or main rod to give an elegant look to your window area. The main curtain is normally made of thick fabric. In case you want some privacy during the day or during at night, you have there your main curtain.

This is just a simple home improvement method but with a great impact in making your home look rich and elegant. In doing this, it will definitely look attractive to your family as well as to your neighbors and visitors.
