If you happen to be a musician, then you likely already are aware of the Waldorf Blofeld synthesizer. When you look at it, it's a tiny little thing and you wouldn't think that it really works. However its bite is bigger than its bark. This pretty little steel keyboard is approximately two feet long and a foot wide but its shimmering dun screen plus the aluminum encoders make it a very satisfying instrument. It is very easy to look at and just as easy to use. The slimline appearance will make it extremely easy to carry around and it will not fail to make an impression on viewers with the high quality workmanship.

Technical Features

The Waldorf Blofeld synthesizer has 3 oscilloscopes for each voice and this means that at least two are capable of delivering synthesis of tones or analogues. Although it is tiny, it manages to incorporate almost all of the capabilities that are necessary in a traditional synth product. All of this implies that this model offers a versatility that's not provided by different products. The three ocisllators are freely routed through 2 distinct filters and they can deliver a broad variety of waves. You can get analog waves or digitizable tables that can be combined to produce the best sounds. The third is VA only however its really worth the money.

Combining these features with the top quality arpeggiator and effect slots means that these particular machines feature effects slots, flanger, phases, a special chorus and triple effects features that may be combined to create a whole selection of new features. Preferably, we would suggest that you test out each of the effects such as the delay, the clocked delay and also the reverberation characteristics that are listed on Effect 2 in advance of actually trying to mix anything. Evaluate all the features before you start but frankly it does not take very much time for you to get the hang of it.

One of the top features of the Waldorf Blofeld synthesizer stands out as the big screen and steel knobs which make it genuinely easy to use. On the other hand, the polished steel can make this model just a little slippery. The knobs modulate the parameters of your sound resulting in a truly excellent sound. The sound which it creates is generally WALDORF in nature. You might not be able to get fat basses due to the smaller size of the keyboard however you will get clear and sharp sounds. If you would like it is possible to then sharpen the sounds to make them warmer but more bass is not really possible.

The only issue is the fact that the back of the unit has just two audio outputs and it could do with many more in order to make it more versatile and easy to use. The single MDI port is quite limited in use and two more are a definite requirement.
