So I was walking though the grocery store recently and I heard a awesome nerd anthem (#3 on the list) which I hadn't listen to in a long time! So I said to myself, this maybe the coolest nerd song of all time. But that got me asking what exactly is the coolest nerd song of all time?

Well I decided to enlist the help of the RMFF and another group of Super Nerds that I call friends, and I created a list of songs. From that list I had people rank in order what they thought was the Coolest Nerd Song of all time. From those lists I determined the probability of each song being near the top of everyone's list. The results I would say were pretty accurate.

Creating this list was so much fun, listening, nerding out, and best of all I got to introduce my baby daughter to many of these Nerd Classics! You better believe I'm good parent....hehehe.

10) Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

I was addicted to this show when I was younger. My favorite Ninja Turtle was a toss up between Leonardo and Michelangelo. This song SCREAMS 80s awesome-ness! I still know every single word to this song....lol

9) Transformers

This shouldn't be a surprise to anyone. I mean how many of us grew-up to this show? Transformers has had kind of a resurgent popularity with movies, tv and video games. But none of them match the awesome-ness of the original theme song!

8) Super Mario Bros.

Anyone remember the Super Mario Bros. Arcade game, or am I just showing my age? Well whatever the case Mario has a song that just about any Super Nerd can hum on demand.

7) The Legend of Zelda

Boy just about no other song can get you sucked into a video game quite like the legendary Zelda theme. Just hit youtube and you'll find everything from full blown orchestras to metal remixes. I for one listen to this and feel a need to hike through the woods...hehehe.

6) Superman

I actually started Nerding out when I heard this song again. I jumped up in the air and started to "fly" around my living room. It was quite entertaining for my little girl I'm sure...hehe

Now I know everyone wants to know what the next 5 are, but you really need to hear them for yourself. I mean after all we're talking about the final 5 Coolest Nerd Songs of all time.
