If a laptop doesn't have all the ports you need, you shouldn't look at it! Once you've worked that out, you have to question yourself whether or not the laptop is expected to be extremely portable, or if it is designed to be at a desk more often than not. Typically, for any hardcore laptop for gaming, I would choose a 15 inch laptop or a 17 inch laptop. Mainly because anything smaller will not come with components suitable for gaming. In smaller laptops, the chassis is not designed for gaming temperatures, and they will get very hot. The larger 15 inch laptops or 17 inch laptops have better cooling systems and are able to withstand higher temperatures. They are built to cool efficiently.
