Take Time Off and Head to Myrtle Beach
Traveling to the ocean is a favorite vacation of many. Singles, couples, friends and families are all drawn in by the magic of it. South Carolina has one of the most famous beaches in the United States. It is not surprising, besides the ocean people travel to Myrtle Beach for the golf and the entertainment.
There is plenty to do for the entire family. Whether you're planning on spending a couple of days relaxing or trying to cram as much into a week as possible, the right planning will make all the difference for your trip.
According to Budget
When looking for places to stay there are many things to consider. Myrtle Beach accommodations run the full gamut from cheap to luxury. Price is of course going to be your first factor. It is possible to get a discount or deals on even the most posh hotels, especially if you book during the off season.
Keeping Your Lodging Affordable
Check for discounts through third-party sites, many times you can find a better deal that way. You might also want to call the hotel directly and ask for the best deal possible when you make your reservations. Sometimes the operator will have been authorized to give a lower price.
Where to Stay?
A second thing that you will want to consider then making your trip to SC is the type of lodging where you will be staying. Do you want an oceanfront room or are you content staying at a motel that is several blocks away from the beach? If you are on a very tight budget then you might consider the latter although there is no comparison to relaxing on the balcony and listening to the ocean waves.
Luxury? The Landmark Resort
If you are looking for oceanfron luxury and don't mind the price, there are several hotels to suit your needs. A few to consider are ...
- Landmark Resort
- Breakers Resort
- Caribbean Oceanfront Resort
- Embassy Suites Oceanfront Resort
- Just to name a few.
Are you looking for standard rooms or would you prefer a suite? There are so many choices when it comes to Myrtle Beach accommodations that you will want to check out each possibility before you make your reservation.
Single Room or Suite?
Take your time to check out other alternative Myrtle Beach accommodations to consider before you get locked into something. Many families find that a suite makes a lot of sense, especially if they plan to stay for several days.
A suite will allow the kids a little more room and since many have kitchens there is more control over what the family will eat for a week (Restaurants can get very expensive for a family of five.).
On the other hand, a single room will do just fine for a couple or if you are planning a trip of just a few of days. No matter what you decide, you will find that Myrtle Beach, SC is a great vacation destination. Now that you have your lodging issue settled, all you need to do is pack your bags!!
