Combine one teaspoon of household ammonia with half cup of cold water. Pour this solution into a spray bottle and spray it on the stain in the carpet. Make sure that you do not soak the carpet stain with the ammonia solution. Use white paper towels to blot the stain and allow the area to dry completely. Best Carpet Ink Stain Removal Methods

Another tried and tested stain of ink removal method is to use hairspray on the ink stain. Spray hairspray on the stain on the carpet so that the spot is well saturated. Wait 30 minutes before dabbing at the ink stain with a piece of sponge that has been soaked in ice-cold water. Any kind of hairspray works for this method of carpet ink stain removal, but the best are clear strong hold sprays that comes in aerosol bottles. When you are dabbing the spot with the sponge, make sure that you dab it gently and not rub it in, as this will cause the ink stain to go deeper into the carpet fabric.

For synthetic fiber carpet with ink stain, the best way to remove the stain would be to apply an oil solvent or carpet cleaning solution with a clean rag and then blot. Whatever solution you use, make sure that it is not too harsh as it might cause the color from the fabric to fade. It is always wise to test a small spot of stain to see how the fabric reacts to the solvent and if it is safe to use it. One of the last effort that you can give for carpet ink stain removal when everything else fails is to use a hydrogen peroxide solution. Apply a bit of hydrogen peroxide solution on the ink stain and dab it with a clean towel. Wash the area with lukewarm water and dry the carpet with a hair dryer.
