Do you love to swim but dislike the fact that sometimes your pool isn't as warm as you would like it to be? This is a common problem that some people have and depending on where you live it can be easy or somewhat difficult to keep your pool warm. Before I tell you how to keep your pool warm I first want to make sure you understand that you don't have to live in Australia to have warm water in your pool all year round, you can live in Europe, Russia, and even Greenland.

Just know that your pool doesn't have a minimum or maximum temperature s whatever you want the water to be at, it can. Many homeowners like their pools to feel much like a bath and if that is the case then get ready to use a little bit of money to make your pool as perfect as it can be. The trick to keeping your pool warm is to do a few simple things which I have outlined below:

How To Keep Your Pool Warm

Give It Sunlight - One of the very first things that everybody must do with their pool is give it a little bit of sunlight. If your pool is surrounded by trees and other big objects then you need to cut them down or something because the more sun your pool can get, the better. Just know that a little bit of sunlight can make a world of difference with the temperature of your pool.

Don't Keep Adding Water - Something else you have to make sure you don't do is add cold water all the time. Most people will fill up their pool when they see it is getting low but the truth is that doing this will cool it off very quickly. My advice is to only add water when you pool has dropped at least 5 inches or more.

Use Solar Thermal Energy - If you have never heard of solar thermal energy than you are missing out. The nice part about solar thermal energy is that it uses solar energy (sun) and creates thermal energy (heat) and then heats your pool with it. Something you will quickly figure out is that it doesn't cost a lot to get this technology installed and it will pay for itself within a couple of years.

just know that when it comes to keeping your pool warm you need to do everything you can to make sure it is exactly how you want it.

Another great piece of technology that goes along with Solar thermal energy is something called Trigeneration, this is used as a byproduct for cooling and the nice thing about it is that you will never have a pool that is too hot or too cold for you.
