Freeware is free software that you can download for free. The term Freeware is a word to describe free software. Freeware is simple to download, can be accessed numerous times over an unlimited timeframe, without a licence.

Freeware includes a huge variety of different software from work programs to screensavers and other images. It is a great Internet resource. Many individuals are really wary about downloading Freeware because they are worried about the risk of viruses. These are valid concerns, because some of the available Freeware does contain threats and viruses.

Sometimes Freeware is mixed up with Shareware. The two are significantly different. Shareware may only be used for free for a trial period, after which you must pay.
