Dreams are like a series of images, ideas, thoughts and feelings that are projected on the human brain while we sleep. We can interact with these images in our minds, but we have no control over the images are projected. It is not known at this time the dream starts in our physical brain, or if there are several parts of the brain that are involved in the development of dreams in our sleep. The dreams are also known as a form of communication of the subconscious mind and often comes to our present state of awareness that change on a daily basis depending on the events of the day. But dreams do not occur throughout sleep. It only happens during our rapid eye movement (REM) sleep, which is about 20% of our total sleep time, while the remaining 80% of our total sleep time is known as non-REM sleep, this which also means a dreamless sleep.
"What dreams mean" is a question we all want the answer too. However, the reason we all have dreams and down without any sense, because our brain during sleep is to bring all our thoughts and memories are recent images / activities and attempts to give a sense. Have you ever woken up one of his dreams and do you think this dream was strange, off-topic and know the meaning? Well, do not worry because we are all human beings have had more, and probably always will be. Understanding the reasons why sleep is essential for scientists to better understand how our mind works. Although science can not prove that the precise causes of dreams once again has shown that sleep does not dream of restoring and maintaining mental health. Therefore, it is important that you have enough sleep so you'll have a good chance to catch REM sleep.
