Do you own a website, do you have a business online, if you
do then you better take note because you're going to learn
how to get more traffic to your sites.

We all know the importance of having a good optimized
webpage to get good traffic.

One of the most important jobs when creating a new website
is doing vigilant research and getting good content for
your site.

Other area's that should be looked at and done right are
things like, your Title and Meta tags, these should have
your targeted keyword in them.

If SEO (search engine optimization) is done correctly then
you'll stand a better chance of having the search engines
finding you and obtain a good SERP (search engine results
position).

What you want is for the search engines to find your site
and rank it well. This is what we want to get good organic
ranking and hence good TRAFFIC.

Here is a bit more explanation of this, when the search
engines spider your site it will give it a score I suppose
you could call it. A SERP, this will determine if you get
on the first page or the last. Everyone wants the first
page of course.

Everyone wants to get on the first page, because they know
if you're not on the first page, your chances of getting
anyone to see your page drops drastically.

So we can be sure that the SERP is so important to websites
and gaining TRAFFIC.

That's why every year online marketers are forever striving
to get good SERP's and the first page. This is the one
major focus for every marketer.

Every marketer out there is focusing on this because they
now the huge advantage it is for their business to be on
the first page and have all that exposure.

So, it is no wonder that it is extremely competitive for
any one to try and get good ranking for a particular
keyword. The more popular the keyword the harder it is to
rank well.

One of the most important jobs in getting your site ready
is having excellent and relevant content.

You do this by having informative articles in your website,
they should be keyword rich.

This is very powerful as the search engines want to know
what your site is about. And if you have the relevant
keywords in it then they will reward you with good SERP's.

There are some not so good strategies out there known as
'Black Hat', they try and trick the search engines and you
will be penalized for this, I suggest you steer clear of
this.

Other things that have to be addressed are, having good
Title and Meta tags in your site, i.e. have the keyword in
them. Content is KING and having good content means your
over 80% there.

By putting in the effort to ensure your website is prepared
correctly for the search engines, you'll reap the rewards
down the track for a long time with good Traffic.

Doing good SEO and including good content, will give your
new website a very good chance of not only being found by
the search engines but being ranked well.

I can hear you asking ....why do all this work?

Simple....TRAFFIC.

And I don't mean any old traffic I'm talking about TARGETED
Traffic.
