Many people will remember the massive pet food recall of 2006 due to melamine contamination. During that time Jeff and his wife lost three of their beloved dogs, two to kidney failure and one to an aggressive liver cancer. Shortly thereafter two more of their dogs became ill and eventually passed, one with diabetes mellitus and one developed a spindle cell cancer tumor. While Jeff readily admits that he has no solid evidence both he and his wife firmly believe the melamine contamination of the pet food led to the deaths of their dogs. With that thought in mind Jeff began to research what their pets nutritional needs truly were and what was available in pet foods to meet those needs. What he found shocked and amazed him. Like many pet owners, Jeff felt that he was doing all of the right things for the family pets but all the while they were being short changed. Now Jeff and his wife share the information they have found and offer options to the pet owners who want only the best for their beloved pets.
